Dropping it after 5 episodes. I was hoping it would capture the magic that the Korean original had, but in my opinion, it really doesn't. But don't let my comment put you off if you are considering watching it - plenty of viewers really liked this remake.

I wouldn't call it misery porn, but the plot does lean into angst, so this drama might not be to your taste. If you're after some more feel good Thai GL dramas, then you might enjoy:

These 4 dramas are all light on the angst and heavy on the fluffiness. They are also all of a pretty good standard. Good luck with your viewing.

I agree. I find some of the hate directed towards this drama to be unfair.

I've watched the first 8 episodes and I'm loving it. I'm genuinely confused that people hate this drama. In many ways, it is similar to Business Proposal, which has a really high MDL score.

I'm only 4 episodes in, so perhaps my opinion will change, but as of right now, I am absolutely loving this drama.
EDIT: Now 6 episodes in and I'm loving it even more.
EDIT: Now 8 episodes in and I'm still loving it, although at the end of this episode, the writers went with Noble Idiocy, which is a trope I personally hate because it is so overused and unbelievable.

I quite enjoyed this series. It was a bit slow at times, with nothing really interesting happening, but overall it was a decent watch.

A cute romcom that I quite enjoyed.
