This drama is not for everyone. It is a slow, thoughful and emotional drama. It makes you think and reflect on yourself and your life. Also, the OST is excellent.

This definitely is a cute and fluffy rom-com, and I did enjoy it (except for the ending). I especially thought Chen Yi Xin's acting was really good and her smile just makes me melt. However, I found Wamg Zi Xin's acting to be quite wooden. I think half of his scenes could have had him replaced with a plastic store mannequin and no one would have noticed.
My biggest criticism, which probably reflects the patriarchal nature of Chinese culture, is that the ML continuously ordered the FL around, made decisions for her and generally treated her like she was his property. He also regularly demeaned her, insulted her and was dismissive of her opinions and desires. And the FL was happy to just take all of this. This sort of door mat attitude from female characters does grate against my Western view of a relationship being an equal partnership between two people.
I hated the last episode where the ML ghosted the FL for three weeks leaving her to believe their relationship was over. Then he had the audacity to rebuke her for daring to be unhappy about it. His inconsiderate self-centredness annoyed me and Song Mi Duo deserved better. My advice to Song Mi Duo is to find someone who actually respects you and treats you as their equal, not as their property.
7/10 from me.

The first trailer for this movie didn't contain a sex scene and consequently there was little interest for the movie. They then released a second trailer that did contain a short clip from KGE's first sex scene, and the interest in the movie exploded. But I agree that in this movie, the explicitness of the sex scenes was unecessary, especially considering the character was a minor.

I hope so. I'm now 5 episodes in and the FL is still letting that obnoxious child bully her around. Why does she play along with the "games" when the owner of the house and the damaged tapestry said she owes nothing. It's like the writers just forgot that part. I can't imagine any development in the ML from this point on that could convince me that the FL would even for a second consider him as a potential romantic partner. The only way I could image it would be with a significant time skip, which I don't believe this show has. I guess I'll know after 5 more episodes.

Issei's grandmother, who owns the house and owns the tapestry that got dirtied told Hayame that she didn't have to pay anything to have it cleaned. So, she had no debt. For the life of me, I don't understand why Hayame would continue to allow Issei to bully and humiliate her with his ridiculous and immature "games".

I'm only two episodes in, but FL is absolutely taking crap from ML. He's ordering her around and treating her extremely disrespectfully, and she's just accepting it. That behaviour is closer to a doormat than a strong woman.

I've just started watching this (2 episodes in) and it I'm quite enjoying it. I'm assuming the two leads end up together, but from what I've seen so far, I could never imagine in a billion years that Hayame would even consider Issei as a potential romantic partner, as he is an arrogant, entitled, obnoxious, immature, misogonistic, disrespectful bully. (I'm far more bothered by his poor character than his age). No self-respecting adult woman would date him. I'm going to need Issei to experience some dramatic and rapid character growth and evolve into something resembling a decent human being in order to find their future romance believable.
Now I've finished 5 episodes, and there is very litttle character growth from the obnoxious child that is the ML. I'll be stunned if the writers can convince me that there could believably be a relationship between the ML and FL.
Now I've watched 8 episodes, and even though he's stopped bullying the poor nerd at school (because he was "bored" with it rather than because he realised it was wrong), stopped regularly throwing tantrums, and has even got a part time job at his family business, I'm still find it absurd that a grown woman would be interested in him. This opinion was further cemented when he confessed to her by clamping her face and kissing her non-consensually, then calling her a "silly woman" before just walking out of the room ... because obviously that's how a mature man would confess to a woman.
Just now finished the drama and the writers didn't convince me that their relationship was believable. I love noona romances, but I need the younger man to 1.) Not be still a school student when their relationship starts, and 2.) Be mature enough to earn the admiration of the older woman. But even though I found the relationship between the main characters unbelievable (and several other plot points as well), I generally found the drama to be enjoyable.

I of course agree what she did was unconscionable and Chen Mai Dong was fully justified in being furious with her false accusation. But at least her behaviour wasn't a criminal offence, although if she made the comment publically, she would have been liable for defamation.

I've just finished this drama. It was long ... perhaps a bit longer than it needed to be, but it was definitely an enjoyable drama. 8½/10 from me.

And I've just now finished the drama. Jiang Jiao Jiao did indeed undergo MASSIVE character growth, to the point of it being unrealistic. He went from entitled jerk to a perfect human being instantly because he now liked Liang Tao. I think the writer(s) should have given Jiang Jiao Jiao an actual redemption arc where he "earned" his redemption, rather than just magically becoming instantly perfect.

How was it not "mature/realistic"? Did you even watch it? If so, why isn't it in your watch list?

This was a really good drama, one of the best Korean dramas I've ever watched.

You write angry. Take a step back and read what you've written, and consider how it might read to someone else. To me, you write aggressively, like you want to fight anyone who dares disagree with you. It has nothing to do with whether or not I agree or disagree with you - its your writing style. If you speak to people like that face to face, I would expect you to get into conflict readily. I'm not going to read your previous lengthy posts just to find an answer to a single question I asked. If you have a reason why I, as a feminist am irrational, simply tell me what it is. Just give me one reason. Pick your best one.
I'm not sure what propaganda, brainwashing & manipulation you think it happening, but it is quite clear that (at least in Western countries), women are (and rightfully expect to be) treated much more equally than they were in the past. Women in my daughter's generation will not tolerate, and will call out misogyny much more readily than women of previous generations, and that is a very good thing.
A dictionary defines how a word is used. It has nothing to do with whether or not something is true. In order for communication to occur, there needs to be agreement as to what a word means when it is used. If you have your own special usage of a word that differs from the usage found in a dictionary (and in society in general), then obviously that greatly increases the risk of miscommunication occurring. The word "feminism" is objectively a noun. This is not in dispute. The fact that you think a noun is a verb doesn't reflect well on your grasp of basic grammar.
Remind me where in my comments exactly where I gaslighted, manipulated or strong-armed you, or anyone. Remind me where in my comments I concluded that you hate women. Madam, the delusion is real.

Good for you too. You do seem angry however. I'm sure most feminists do indeed believe lots of things, just as most misogynists believe lots of things. And obviously lots of people "believe" things that aren't true. For example, millions of delusional people believe in god.
Your comment is ambigious as to exactly what has had its opposite proven. Are you asserting that it has been proven that feminists are irrational? If so, please enlighten me how I'm irrational. I assume therefore that you believe misogynists are rational?
I didn't define anything. I'm just using the dictionary definition of the word. If one of us is redefining the word to mean something different than what the disctionary says, then that would be YOU.

I'm a 54 year old happily marrried man with two well-adjusted adult children. I am rational and I am a feminist. I suspect you don't know what that word means.

Reasonably entertaining, if a little bit weird. I love Noona romances (which is why I watched this drama), but I really didn't believe that a Junko would by won over by Kyohei.

I agree that the coach is also a bit of an arrogant dick. The difference is that he didn't proactively take steps to humiliate and professionally damage anyone. What Jiang Jiao did was (in my opinion) much, much worse that anything Zhang Yan did.

A very good drama - I enjoyed it a lot. I did find some of the characters' decisions confusing at times and their behaviour inconsistent, but people are messy in reality. I liked Zhou Yu Tong's acting, even though her character was sometimes frustrating - I'll definitely check out some more of her work.
