I posted the following comment 4 months ago: ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ "I'm very keen to see who Faye's partner will be. Assuming the actors are playing characters roughly their age, if Nina (age 45) has a daughter, then she's probably about Yoko's age (24). So I'm predicting Faye's new love interest will be about the same age as Yoko. Time will tell if I'm right or not." ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Four months later and I can see that I'm a really good guesser.
age gap is very jaring. even more so when you realize the lead actress could have easily given birth the lead…
I think you'll find the exact opposite is true. In general, people are much more comfortable with a male who is significantly older than a female in a relationship.
It absolutely blows my mind that in the year 2026, there are still places on earth where the parents of ADULT children force (or try to force) their ADULT children into marriage chosen by the parents. I also cannot reconcile parents who claim that their only goal is to ensure their child doesn't suffer, but then they behave that guarantees their child suffers. It's just stupid.
Sure, its a bit soap-opera-like and there are some pretty big plot holes, but its actually quite entertaining. Everyone who did wrong got what's coming, which is always fun to watch. Also, plenty of Botox on display with the older actors. 8.5/10
I'm finding Jiang Qiao Xi extremely frustrating, and I've only watched 4 episodes. Quite frankly, he's an arrogant dick. After cruelly mistreating Lin Ying Tao, he won't even apologise or make any effort to explain his previous poor behaviour. He just hangs around with his creepy smirk, being dismissive of Lin Ying Tao's feelings of annoyance towards him and ignoring her when she expresses her annoyance. He might be attracted to her, but he very clearly has no respect for her. I want to see some character growth from him. If he is given redemption (which of course he will be), I want him to earn it by, at the VERY LEAST, sincerely apologising to her. [Update] I'm dropping this mid-episode 5. Jiang Qiao Xi is annoying me too much, and from what I've read in other comments, worse is yet to come. With only so many hours in a day, and so many dramas waiting for me, I'm not going to waste more time on a drama that I'm not really enjoying.
This movie is mentioned in episode 9 of "Reply 1988". I just found it on some obscure porn site and speed-watched it. It was pretty terrible. Actually, it was very terrible. It also wasn't particularly "erotic" by today's standards. The only nudity shown in the entire movie was one brief shot of a topless Caucasian woman. There were several sex scenes, but you couldn't see anything as the scenes were very dark, and the actors weren't still clothed. About the most erotic thing was the moaning during the sex scenes. The "Extreme Sexual Content" tag on this page is a joke, put there by someone who clearly hasn't seen the movie.
Very low budget, poorly acted, average cinematography, terrible music, mediocre plot that did nothing more than make an excuse for lots and lots and LOTS of sex. The actors committed to the sex scenes, but they weren't particularly well acted, choreographed or filmed. This movie barely qualifies as a "mainstream" movie - it is very close to just being a soft-core porno, and a pretty crappy one at that. There are so many things you could watch that are much, much better than this. I understand that rookie actresses like Park Se Mi will accept such a role to try to lift her career out of obscurity, and get noticed among the crowds of other actresses competing for a limited number of roles, but I have to think that in conservative Korea, her choice to film just a role is just as likely to hurt her career than help it.
This is NOT a GL/Lesbian movie. There is no romance or even a hint of attraction between the female leads. The poster is textbook queer-baiting. It would be more accurate to call it a sismance type relationship. The current tags (Lesbian Female Lead, Lesbian Romance, LGBTQ+) and even the description are misleading. (EDIT: I proposed edits to the tags which have been accepted). It's just another low budget movie that tries to compensate its lack of anything resembling a compelling plot with lots of gratuitous nudity (both male and female). The movie itself is pretty terrible, so don't waste your time. But if you absolutely must torture yourself and watch it, or you just want to check out what Sim Yi Young looked like naked when she was only 20, then you can find this movie on YouTube (or at least it could when I typed this).
I'm 11 episodes in, and this is my view from what I've seen so far. The love triangle is barely noticable, because…
I can't remember sorry. It was ages since I watched it. There are websites that have summaries of episodes on many CDramas. You could try finding one of those if you are very keen to find out, but they spoil the entire series, so keep that in mind.
I'm really enjoying this, but I can't help but wonder why they have so many goats on set. Did they film this drama in a goat farm? Also, why does Deok Sun's father yell continuously. It must be exhausting for him. I'm finding it exhausting listening to him.
Quite an entertaining drama with an interesting central plot. There were several aspects of this drama which could have been done better, but I'm not going to list them because many of them come down to personal taste. The final episode was a bit of a let down for me, but again, this probably just reflects my personal taste. 8.5/10

But I suggest that you just Google, and if it exists, you will find it.
