I have seen more and more dramas ROMANTICIZING MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES. Unfortunately, this over-rated drama seems…
It's fine if you didn't like it and thought it was boring. But to say you dropped this drama and then say there's no proper redemption for the female lead in virtually the same sentence... well... how would you know? Also, this is not a documentary... addressing mental health issues in a drama automatically means romanticizing them... which to me seems perfectly fine as long as they're treated with respect. Which is the case in this drama.
I've just finished watching this for the second time... first time ongoing... second time on Netflix... even more convinced now it's 10/10. Here are only some of the things I love about it: The fairy tale element in every fibre of the story, Jamsan's art, Sang Tae's hands, that gorgeous house, Moon Young's clothes, Mang Tae, the own-little-personal-story that every support character in this drama gets, the darkness, the little jokes, Kim Mi Kyung (I love her in everything!), those quail eggs (I want some...), Oh Cha Yong's nap time, Aish!!, Jung Sang Hoon's cameo (19 LOL), Gang Tae's smile, Gang Tae's tears, and that "gaesaekki" deer...
So what am I gonna do now... never since I've started to watch Asian drama have I ever fallen into a black drama hole like this...
There are LGBT characters for straight people and then there are LGBT characters for LGBT people. This movie is…
No, I wouldn't say it's BL either. But these are LGBT characters for all people who like good movies. Isn't putting stuff into boxes of this and that the whole problem?
One of the main things I love about this show is how the fairy tale element is woven into every fiber. In many shows the FL would have been “stamped” as children’s book writer, because that’s a quirky profession for an unconventional character, but that would have been that. In this show it’s everywhere, from the episode titles, to the role everyone plays, to the moral of each episode, and to the wonderful art that is truly integrated in the whole drama.
Why is everyone complaining it's the first week without IOTNBO?... Doesn't have to be... I'm watching it all over again in HD on Netflix... and second time it's even better!
As mentioned in a previous comment, this drama is not the typical drama liked by men since this does not have…
That's a bit of a generalisation, don't you think? I'm a woman and I absolutely love action thrillers. I also love this drama to bits. I'm sure a whole bunch of men does too. Precisely because it's not your typical drama...
This looks like a love child of Firefly/Serenity + Cowboy Bebop + Guardians of the Galaxy... with a dose of Korean swag and the magic of Song Joong Ki and Kim Tae Ri... I'm in!!!
Oh boy do I agree with Minarii on the K2. What a waste. It has some of the most awesome scenes in action drama (those shower moves!), the villain starts out with great potential, and JCW is scrumptious. But the script is just... unforgivably bad. And Go An Na (Yoona) and Jang Se Joon (An Na's father) are two of the most annoying characters ever. Big disappointment. And Goblin... couldn't finish it. Left me cold. Shame, 'cause I loved the bromance. From this list Mr. Sunshine is definitely my favorite.

Thank you to @Mr_Morningstar for pointing him out!
I'm so happy it's coming to Netflix over here in Europe... gonna recommend it to everyone I know!
