Martial

Not him playing coy lolol but he plays a good villain. Would love to see him on a drama with Reba

I had to drop this because I knew I was gonna get mad at the male characters. They just irk me to no end.

If someone tried to stab me like Zi Ping did, I would make sure she can never cooks again lol But damn, it's sad that women are forced into such terrible situations because of an unfair feudal system.

Then Zi Ping tries to stab her ass like sis, it thought y'all were friends!

I really like the Crown Prince. He might not be the brightest but his actions offer some comedic relief

can you send a link I can't seem to find it on YT :)

It's early in the episode but it really needs to pick up the pace.

I hope this is true and I hope they keep the ML as Liu Ye. I'm not too found of these baby faced actors being cast to gain some sort of romance traffic onto the drama.

Ikr! I want this opportunity for her so bad.

That's crazy if she is lead because I remember when she was around 19yrs old and they asked her who she would like to star alongside and she said Liu Ye would be her dream leading man. I hope it's true because that would be a dream for her!

Sis needs to make a comeback or go Hollywood. Sis would kill it.

the use of "quirky" is a little off putting because if anything has taught me about dramas, quirky is the go to word for "Spoiled, yet different and courageous FL who always needs saving"

Zhou Yi Wei is also rumoured? I hope Reba takes this drama

A wonderful actor and a great humanitarian

Power Up, Artist Yang is a great one too!

Totally get what you mean. There's already an unfair advantage and lacks narrative intrigue.

I like more of the stories that have people going from the present to the past or one who has entered into a storybook. I've read some great ones like Dreamer in the Spring Boudair and Transmigrated into a Parvenu's Ex-wife in the ‘90s. Those stories tell a realistic and harrowing realities of being a cannon folder without holding back the blemishes of the person's past behaviour. Power Up, Artist Yang is a crazy good tale too.

Man those tropes are some of the best

Is it? I thought it was only transmigration stories but damn, they can change it and make a coma story then. Now I am thinking whether transmigration and rebirth are the same thing lol Censorship fucking up everything

Absolutely worth it. One of the few transmigration stories that actually takes into consideration the actions of the character prior to their death.

This definitely has a more youthful energy so let's hope they don't disregard the tone of the original novel just so it can be a fluffy drama to draw in audiences. Let's also hope the screenwriter takes advantage of the creative freedom and layer each character.

But I must say, I haven't seen Ma Ke in a role for a while now.
