This drama had some nice costumes and that's about it for me

I think I dislike the shifu more! His characterisation seems very linear, nothing about him is compelling whereas the Emperor makes you want to understand is ruthless and their shared past. The dialogue doesn't help either tbh, some missed opportunities in a lot of the character interactions.

Why do fans of other actors and actresses come here and say shit to discredit the cast? It's not like the director/scriptwriters/agency can see your recommendations so chill elsewhere and stop with the nonsense. Being a hater ages you faster than meth!

If it's true, I hope she takes care of her wellbeing! She's such a talented person but her health should always come first. She's young so she will have all the time to to refresh her career but you only get one life.

The actors deserved a better plot and storyline!

A lot of them try but there are so many more who just take up too much space and opportunity from someone who could really flesh out the role much better.

There's been some amazing donghua released as of the last year and had very little romance! Some donghua are even better than the drama versions so hopefully an animation group picks up the original text and turn into a miniseries
