My only regret for starting this drama is that I didn't wait for all the episodes to come out first. I marathoned nine episodes and now have to wait for the next one. There may not be anything particularly exciting about the plot, but the writing and acting are just so good, and all players were cast perfectly. There are various types of relationships, different personalities and values, and it's interesting to see them conflict and evolve through honesty, misunderstandings and the messy nature of human connection. The drama really portrays the value in each character and evokes understanding if not empathy for all of them. It also makes me think about how much of what we want out of life comes from what society has told us we should want, and what we as individuals really want. And though the technical information about the weather goes over my head, I find it fascinating to take a peek into that world.
Overall, I thought this was a great series. The character development, writing and acting all came together so well, especially because all the roles were perfectly cast. The only thing that seemed a bit strange was Paul having any type of romantic feelings for Pipu. Whether he's in a young body or not, he's still a 55 year old man catching feelings for a 15 year old boy. A 15 year old boy who he's known since birth and has had an uncle/nephew relationship with. I'd love to see Khaotung and Win in a different BL because they have great chemistry, it just seemed inappropriate in this storyline.
exactly, it’s a toxic trait to force someone to another esp when she knows Thyme loves her, she deliberately…
The difference is that Thyme's mother is concerned with financial success without regard to his personal happiness. Gorya truly wants everyone to be happy. Unfortunately love alone is not enough to build a happy relationship and Gorya is grappling with the reality of that fact right now. She may not be handling it in the best way because she's young and inexperienced, but she has a mature understanding of how society works.

There were a few scenes where Lita reminds Gorya of Thyme and it's obvious that they would be a good match. Thyme would be happy and have an easier time if he only loved Lita, it wouldn't cause friction with his mother, and Lita is lovable. So Gorya put the pieces together and wants Thyme to walk a path that would make it easier for him. I'm sure she's under a lot of stress thinking it'll be impossible for things to work out between her and Thyme because they come from two different worlds, she doesn't understand his, and his mother hates her. And because Thyme and Lita are already engaged, her suggesting to Thyme that he would be happier with Lita if he could love her is not an egregious statement. As a friend looking at it objectively, she's not in the wrong to say it. The whole situation has hurt her and she's also, perhaps selfishly, trying to escape from that pain. And there is also the fact that they are still very young and inexperienced.
I totally agree. I'm out of patience with Kit. He's acting uncharacteristically immature and this whole trial/experiment…
Yeah, realistically, they all would have changed partners multiple times by now, but BL producers know we all come for the picture of true love between cute boys. :p

Even if this isn't supposed to be connected to 2 Moons, they are the same characters with the same personalities, in the same setting with the same relationships, and their past leading up to this point is everything that happened in 2 Moons. There's no way I can think of them as totally different people with the same names.
Haaa... Kit exhausts me. Such unnecessary drama. At this point I'm about to pretend there is no 2nd season, so…
I totally agree. I'm out of patience with Kit. He's acting uncharacteristically immature and this whole trial/experiment he's doing is pointless. I want to see Mark with someone who treats him as well as he treats them.
At this point, it's impossible for me to like Wayo with Thanu. Maybe if I'd never watched 2 Moons and hadn't known Wayu and Pha's story, it would be different. But to see that bond trashed so easily, it makes me think that Wayu is frivolous and Thanu is a terrible friend. Sure, Pha asked him to look after Wayu, but knowing how much Pha loved Wayu, he should have questioned Pha about why they couldn't be together rather than pursuing the love of Pha's life without any concern for someone he considers a close friend. Seeing Thanu and Wayu together just makes me think of sadness and betrayal.
When Wayu said he can't leave Pha while he's sick, it seemed like he was staying by him out of pity and guilt. What he should feel guilty for is accepting Pha's preposterous break up and not finding out what was really going on. He's such a weak, wishy washy character, I really can't stand him in this. If Pha lives, but Wayu picks Thanu, I will not forgive him.
If Pha dies, Wayu should reject Thanu out of guilt. Thanu should run back to Phai and get rejected because Phai will have fallen for Sandee. Sandee and Phai should be a sweet couple who always puts each other first. Kit should grow up a little and not take Mark's support as rejection. Jack and Koh should get more screen time as their romance blooms. They are far more interesting than anyone else. Pok and Tong are toxic right now. They need to remain apart and come together ten years down the line when they've both matured. And Wayu needs to be weak and fainting by himself for the rest of his life!
I'm enjoying this despite not feeling any chemistry between Phap and Maze. I like them both, but I'm not feeling a connection. I wish the side couple had more of a storyline because they're the ones with chemistry.
When this first came out, I dropped it after the first episode. ShanCai was a rude, aggressive bully and F4 were all pretty gentle. Well, I gave it another chance and just accepted the story for what it was, and it was entertaining enough watching it at 1.25x (and at times 2x) speed. The last two episodes, though... so much cringe, full of flashbacks, and just not satisfying. But at least I can say I've seen every incarnation of this drama including the manga and anime.
I'm really surprised I don't hate this series given how I felt at the end of the first season. However, it's just something to watch while I'm waiting for new episodes of the good dramas I'm watching to come out. I don't feel emotionally attached to anything that's happening. Also, while Wayu and Thanu are likeable characters, I don't like them this season and I especially don't like them together. Thanu tries to have chemistry, but Wayu is just so blah. If only the writing and directing were better, I could look past some of the lukewarm acting and be at least a little invested in what's going on.
Thinking of this as a low budget student project, I was able to get through the first two episodes, but halfway through 3, I just gave up. The story is just so uninteresting, the dynamic is creepy instead of romantic., and the characters aren't likeable enough for me to slog through the rest of it.
The acting was not bad, the chemistry was good, if only they had a decent script! I'd love to see these characters in a storyline with an actual plot containing meaningful dialogue!
The production quality wasn't great, the acting was stiff and the story didn't unfold smoothly. It was interesting enough to watch if you want something light to fill the time. 5/10
This drama was just okay for me. I usually find Jdramas meaningful even when they use tropes. This one had a lot…
When Asaba pursued Kiki after he saw Shintani happily dating her, I lost all respect for him. He had no empathy at all for his close friend. Shintani is some kind of saint for not feeling bitter about it. I wish Kiki had decided to just be friends with both of them. Romance really wasn't needed in this ending, in fact it was tiring for the romance to be interjected into it.
This drama was just okay for me. I usually find Jdramas meaningful even when they use tropes. This one had a lot of good scenes, but the last couple of episodes were just so unmoving, I lost interest. I didn't like the way they handled any of the relationships and was left feeling unsatisfied in the end.
