The prisoner bit was not realistic, there no way that a murderer would have only one sleepy person in the room and only one arm chained to the bed. Mind you, things happen all the time and ppl escape so it could be just sloppy police/detention team.

Hehe, they are not medical professionals but they did have dancer getting some neoadjuvant chemo, so not too bad. Somehow stepmother did not have that option but lets pretend it was for some-other reasons:)))

Yes, it is a case in many countries. You can’t treat your family members, nor just operate on them as one cannot make rational and uninvolved decisions. In this particular case, surgery may be too risky and operating team would weight all risks and other factors and may refuse the surgery.
There are lots other factors that come in play but he is absolutely correct in refusing to operate.

I personally like book so much more. The baby Ning stayed with them and ML was very, very sweet, protective and almost like a mother hen when they got together. There was no break up like in the series. He also used swimming as euphemism for certain activities, it was hilarious :))

Tan ya does not see the side of him that FL lead does, and thinks that can work together but FL lead wants to be loved, what is wrong with that especially after the trauma of first marriage? Tan ya was loved by her cheating husband even though it was not for long, but FL never had it reciprocated so “settled marriage “ is not what she wants. She wants both sides to love equally

Actually someone made a comment today to say that he did behave differently towards his first fiancé. So he does know how to love someone, and FL knows and remembers that.
