I just watched the ep. I am really not sure on how to feel about the masked man’s intention. Of course on a bigger scale, he hates the Emperor and the rules around it, the unfairness…but on the other hand, for just two toes and the grudges is a petty intention. He can’t choose where he is born and he can’t choose his father’s choices too, so he build his revenge on overthrowing the Emperor and making a mess in SuSha… so by doing that how is he going to get his credit and change the system?

Agreed. Same here, CPs individually working through their misunderstanding/ challenges rather than being obsessed with each other partners are more interesting to watch. But that will means creativity in writing. So let’s see how far I can tolerate this kind of tropes.

I was suspecting this as I noticed Fu Yue’s jealousy when she talks to Situ Ling, he appears clueless, so hopefully she doesn’t become that person who betray them. Tiring to watch indeed.

It’s also obvious set up that Fu Yue seems to like Situ Ling, really hope they don’t turn her to be the one who will betray them.

Finally completed. This mini drama really take me so long to complete, not because it’s not good but because the release was slow. Overall a good watch, coherent story telling, good fight scenes, great acting, and lots of sensual scenes making me ☺️ blush. And finally a satisfactory wrapped up. Such a surprising watch for mini series, both leads deserves to have their full length drama someday. The production team also put effort in the costume design and sets.

I agreed. I don’t like how this part of the character is written, suddenly make her regressed and cheapen her maturity that has been set up so far. It’s basic human courtesy to still say ‘thanks for your help’, it just makes the scene feels like she is purposely torturing him because she knows he is seeking her attention. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wow all these discussion about ancestry on the characters…so a metaphorical example: If T-Rex is ancestor of chicken, can they be married when they met in olden times? perhaps not, as the chicken will be eaten😜 Ignore me, just have a silly thought.😅
