This screen writer has written some good novel to drama adaptation, such as The Dream of Red Mansion and LuoYang. So I have faith that she will do a good job adapting this with its primary theme of the story and characters intact.

Yes, agreed. FSG is ruthless but there is certain line he wouldn’t cross. I really couldn’t make out of this XYR’s character. He doesn’t seem remorseful of shooting that arrow, he only kept mentioning he wish she can’t remember the incident, as if he has no responsibility for it.
