Well if you are familiar with South Park, one of the episode, Stan will throw up whenever he sees his love interest, Wendy🤣.

There is a lot of foreshadowing in latest ep. So will XiaoLan return to her original world? Will she lose everything she set up in 1980s and only gain a learning experience? That will be very sad to have gone through so much, work so hard, gain so much and to amount to just a learning experience. I am reminding myself to stay just present with XiaoLan’s journey. And remind myself, sometimes in life we only have the now moments, so must cherish it.

I love the ML characterization in G2G, stay true ‘dark’ aura till the end even though he is a green flag.

In this story Wei Yan is not exactly the worst villian, although he did cause the deaths of many an made a puppet Emperor, he was cornered and needed to protect the Wei clan. The old Emperor is the true villain.
I do wish to see more of his arc but, this drama has won’t have time to show it all.

Exavtly! The lean swords are most impractical for use with brutal strength. If they want to show her using her muscle strengths, a different type of swords would be needed.

Xie Zheng should really make FCY a pair of axe, much more handy, the swords just didn’t really suits her image. But that’s just my opinion😅.

That’s a tough one as all three guys have their strengths and flaws😅. Here’s my pick and why: Liu Yong is a simple man but definitely reliable and loyal family man; but he depends a lot on FL’s guidance to business direction and he already has a suitable wife;) Mayor Tang is a gentleman and has a failed marriage, so shows that he has the tendency to not put much emphasis to relationship till much later in life, so FL’s mom definitely is a suitable match.
Zhou Cheng is just starting out in his adulthood, facing other relationships and learning to overcome life challenges, he has a positive attitude towards life and growth, responsible and hardworking, not needy, so he is definitely an ideal candidate I will pick for a partner choice😜.

Not exactly like a Japanese Isekai style. Based on this novel, Qian Qian is a modern girl and accidentally got transmigrated and stuck in the historical time. Recent c drama has a lot of such recurring plotlines, you can check out “How Dare You”, where both leads transmigrated into a comic story.

Yes, the drama try to give hint by showing some of her modern skills highlighted by the commenter above. But the drama choose not to address that plotline and leave it ambiguous.

I love the Wei Yan’s arc and the final reveal, can watch it for that;).

Hahahha…sadly you may be disappointed as this drama is still about the leads making the win. 😅 The novel has better written political plot, here there is lots more emphasis on creating the CPs and beautiful shots, IMO.

It would be inappropriate to have a kiss scene a the hospital bed especially after what ML has witnessed and what FL had gone through in tha accident. I am glad we have a director that can make sense of this plots.👍🏻

You mean Qian Qian right? She is not the grand princess. In the novel, she is; but here the script, they left it as an ambiguous plotline.

👍🏻I like your perspective. Since you mentioned LoTR, I wanted to share that I would have prefer FCY’s fight scene be done like Eowyn, although she can fight and can be strong, but her strengths and tactics in her fight should be on her agility and benefits of being small size, and not just brutal strengths😓. I also would really prefer to see more of Xie Zheng’s fight scenes.
