So we were right, Chi Wan and his brothers have to sacrifice in order to create the tenth dragon, Wu ShiGuang. So all this while JiLing is a stand in for Chi Wan perhaps to prevent chaos and to trick Jiu Yingā¦finally more clarity, I think.lol!

But MLās character here is not obsessed with revenge, he wants to unite the kingdom, thatās his goals, not sure how much he is obsessed with it. And your point about him being obsessed with FL and dies with that, yup, thatās the hypotheses that he may become a spirit and be with her.

The concept of reincarnation was not explored or mentioned here, so we donāt know that. But some spirits can hold on to their Obession, hence they live in spiritual realm, living a continuous cycle of their Obession till they learnt to let go and be liberated. I donāt think itās an inner demon concept or I donāt really understand what you mean by inner demon, instead itās more of unfinished business concept when they are living. An example like Jiang Ai, her Obession with greed, she ended up holding a job as the finance/account spirit for He Si Mu.

Yes, the previous season was 7yrs ago, time to let that go as so much has changed. And I read from some article that this drama is adaptation is closer to the novel and will complete the whole novel story, which is something I look forward to seeš¤©.
