IMO, this part 2 is watchable but story is not as captivating and tight as part 1. A lot of happenings are like “…why like this and that…it just did and everything is okay now…after a few ep.” 😅. The culture presentation are still fantastic! Lots of great dance, art performances of those times. Thats the best part to my enjoyment, lots of effort.

qn 2, nope Prince Ning did not become King. CP is still King.
qn 3, Not much follow up on Liu Cang’s family, this part 2 is all about LC helping Prince Ning being his subordinate.
Lastly, the irritating brother of ShenYi, did create some misunderstanding but it will be clarified and he maintains the good adoptive brother for most part. And nope he didn’t get kick out, because this drama has lots of redemption arc for most characters.

He just know what to say to sooth her emotions. He make sharp observation and very sensitive and thoughtful towards her needs. Perfect lover indeed!

Ah…join us there soon. There exchange is super sweet in ep 15-16. ML is a direct and smart and straightforward towards his love;). FL has her consideration but she is also bold and honest. Love this two😍.

The story is quite good. It’s the same author that written parallel world. But is all drama, IG you can switch off logic and accept this is Sci-fi, it’s pretty fun to watch. For warm you that the CGI is really not fantastic because of the low budget. Enjoy!

My guess is there maybe another set up of a possible trope for misunderstanding. But I really hope not. ML is smart to decide to come out honest and open, now it’s her journey to learn to trust him. Think she is more cautious and has more at stake since her whole family was massacred in front of her. Probably still wondering, can she really believe him.

That was my exact same point earlier when I watch this, reckless behaviour putting herself in danger. However I know it’s a common trope as if we don’t have this, there will be little climatic scene, so the director has to create some tension for audience 😅.
