CGH is a black and white type of villian, once he hates that person, his arrogant and prideful ness will make him continues to want to prove that he is right about Nan Heng. HWF’s mom is unfortunate to be poisoned and the person who posioned her, had become JCY’s servant who brought him up. So naturally JCY will stop HWF from taking revenge, but how can HWF ever forgive JCY for stopping her?
It was sad that the FL did not have any dreams for herself . The family basically tied her down. That was sad!
FL’s choice was very relatable to me, choosing to do what’s needed for the family instead of pursuing her own dreams. In the novel, FL is very good with her words, so she ever wanted to study literature, but because her mom feels that has no prospect, she did finance as shown in the drama. And later after graduated and reconciled with ML, she did pursue her dreams, to open a cafe near their favourite spot and provide youth Counselling support in her cafe.
I didn’t read the novel, so not sure whether if this is following the novel events. But the screenplay here is rather slow in progress. Looking at this is an only 24 ep part 2, at ep 11, not much has progress in terms of ML’s political scheme. But at least some progress in FL’s business yet not much happen between the leads. It’s stuck at the misunderstanding arc which some of us wonder how long will this drag. 🤷🏻♀️ Best to binge all ep., so may have lesser frustration.😅
The FL really was not in her right mind after she ruined the wedding . She should not have gotten the ML involved…
Yup, after she was caught, Thats her realization that she is slightly different in that aspect. She cares for her family and doesn’t want to see them suffer for her. So she decides to stay on. Her parents behaviour is partly because of her mom being unwell and paranoid. Yeah, her dad is a total push over, but there will be change later on;) U felt the whole script is realistically written.

Thats how c drama script writer want us to feel, gave us lots of angst on the leads, then when they reach a final HE in the destination, viewers can appreciate the joy. It’s a cdrama script formula.
Ep 11, HWF why did the script writer make you confront Liu Chang again on the boat? Just to prove that your words can influence him? Thats such a risk she takes. Well at least they gave an outcome of him beginning to notice his own wife.

As character, she is design to lack flexibility, so far she only follows what she read in the script but unwilling to open her heart and eyes to observed and actually see the real Nan Heng in front of her. She really doesn’t deserve him😅.
