Probably, but I accepted as at that circumstances, her mom was the unfortunate one, and she chooses to not report also means she doesn’t want anyone to take revenge for her. So HWF understands her mom’s message to her.

Yes should blame the father, but HWF also see that if to put all blame on his father, it’s also not right as he was trying to protect his family. As if he doesn’t follow the orders from the rich and powerful, his business will be closed and their family will lose their livelihood.

Long Spoiler but in summary: HWF started to wonder about her mom’s death and suspected her father may know something, so she went home to confront him. And realised that her father in order to protect his business and family, fear of powerful rich authority, he reserved all the medicine flower and sold it all to the rich folks. As Uncle Wu said, even with money, he couldnt get medicine and a lot of poor folks beg at them but was rejected and died. Uncle Wu was angry at He family for causing this, he went and confront HWF’s mother and poison her. To his surprise, HWF’s mother was unaware of her husband doing, she decided not to report Uncle Wu, gave him the last bag of medicine and asked him to leave. She burnt all her medicine flower and die.
So as shown in preview, she said “…no one to claim revenge from…” She knew her Mom wouldn’t want her to take revenge and she knew JCY stopped her because after she finds out the whole truth, she will regret it.

Yes, it is still a good drama, so much better than a lot I have watched. Although there are little questionable plot points here and there, overall I still find this brillant.

I felt like smacking my own mouth. I have said earlier that ep12, what’s that kind of writing…then ep 13, the story gave me a great explanation on why FL can easily forgive ML.😅 Brillant writing…lol!

It was never clearly mentioned which guy she dated that gave her that disease. Just hinted one of them.

MingSheng understands QingYu’s struggles and knew that she can’t accept his love. In earlier ep., she has said having him in her life is a burden. Then now as she said those words on growing up, memories will be forgotten, it’s her way of again pushing him away. So instead of letting her feel burden my his love, he told her that he will forget her by one click, so she don’t need to feel burden by his liking.

Hi five! Actually this drama has better ending as it’s open ending and all hinted that they met in modern world;). Don’t watch his latest XianXia, ‘Feud’, Thats even more angsty.

Wow!!! I am excited to see what’s the twist, make it good!

If you are familiar with season1. Those common tropes will be repeated here, such as FL being challenge again by her Ex and his wife. FL’s besties brother creating misunderstanding. Misunderstanding and not confessing as both leads felt burdening each other and now at ep 12, there is an obstacle that makes them impossible to be together. So it may be wiser like some viewers to wait for all ep releases then pick this up again;).

Hahahha…yeah! That was a very odd scene, I really wonder how would people feel that as romantic.

Can watch ep 12-14 together, there seems to be a resolution and lovely scene at ep14.

Thats silly right!. It’s the director’s way of showing us small moments where HWF cherish what was given to her by JCY. This sweet moments apply to Rom. Com make sense but feels odd in this more serious drama. lol!
