The last 5ep feels like watching a k drama, even the ultimate villian Xia Ziyu feels pathetic, and the multiple recording…so funny. Sure out to get her.

I get it, one of the key theme of this drama is that the outcome is not the most important aspect, the process is. This is a feel good drama, although the person who has the biggest gain is FL, I kind of feel bad for the family and ML in the 80s timeline😓. This ambiguity ending feels like a convenient wrap up without needing to explain how it is and why it is.
Overall it’s a great story, totally enjoyed the slice of life in the 80s! Love the 80s Cantonese songs.

yup, JiLing has always been the Dragon, he put a piece of his power into the puppet so hence the puppet has Dragon Ji Ling’s face, and sent him on mission to find Xiao Wei.

Spoiler continue….If you watched to ep 5, you will realise ‘XiaoWei’ has turned herself into a male aka Liu Wei Xue so as to protect his reincarnated debtor, who is a female. That’s the misleading twist that the story was trying to lead you. Technically gender to fox tribe are loosely associated.

Hahhaha…his world view changes after he met her.🤣🤣🤣

Ep 13, DX’s dialogue with Chen Ying shows how self aware that his crush for He SiMu is one sided at this point in time. Our foxy general is on a mission to make all powerful 400 years old, Ghost Queen fall for him;).

Honestly I am also not sure of the connection😅. Probably have to watch on to see.

Yup the main actors have multiple roles, as its original script, wondering whether it will involve past present and future identity😅.

It’s Edward Guo’s style. His way of storytelling often can be over-convoluted but he has good ideas. Watch to ep 5, and see how you feel about it;)

If I am not wrong it’s the word 雾, means mist or fog…so possibly choke to death as punishment.

Hmmm…”silly and naive”…then you should try her drama, “Love in Turquoiseland” definitely none of that.

The sword technically has a soul in it, it will choose who it allows to use it. The sword originally belongs to He Simu hence she initially was trying to get close to DX because she wants to take back her sword but also realise that the sword chooses to accept DX, so she didn’t pursue it further.

Twist after twist😅 Must watch closely.;)
