Watched this on YouTube. a story with good intention to showcase racism and how Chinese were treated with cruelty in those times. However this drama tried too hard to add plots on murder mystery, with revolution movement, slavery, power and control; that it become a huge mess. Just watch with an open mind and for laughs. Chow Ren Fatt put up a good show.
The pairing of Wang Bao Qiang and Liu Hao Ran is always fun to watch. But I am glad they wrote this story as a stand alone and not much relation to previous series. But this is definitely a little to serious to be featured during the Chinese New Year period.

This ep I am just mesmerized by XiXi’s acting.
I love what TTJ provide as a dream arc for LSS, however it is actually for himself that he is doing that dream sequence. And it’s very sad because even for little happiness to himself, he has to do it in deception because of the circumstances he is in. He can’t love openly.
And TTJ really enjoys his time in that house with YXW, carefree and relax, fun.😭😭😭

And everyone who is suppose to be so highly skilled didnt notice him listening to their conversation🤦🏻‍♀️. Furthermore he could pick up the pieces of the artifact, that was burnt to ash?

Ep 19 and 20 are nice, the siblings relationships are very good. It will be sad to see any harm happening to anyone of them.

Yup that part was a bit confusing to me too. What I gathered is that MuMie saw the death of YiTan. But it could be in his timeline, the YiTan that came from 20yrs ago who died to save HongYe and the rest of them by sacrificing and sending them back to his original timeline. So that part was changed by WuMie. However now YiTan knew through WuMie that in their original timeline, they will all die in the battle except HongYe. So he is also afraid.
Does this make sense?

Yes, in that reality, all of them died. So I believe in their new reality, things will change. Maybe we will get to see this pair again.

Let’s talk plot, so since they are back. What happen to CuiYu MingLan and Mu Mie? I do wish they have good ending😅.
