Revenge plot in XianXia has no logic. 🤣Glad you pick this up;) As this was filmed 3yrs ago, most of the tropes and story line May seems familiar. But both leads done well in their portrayal of the characters. I am hanging on so long just for them;).

In the novel, ML burnt WY’s staying quarters just because he drew FL…so I don’t think ML will take it lightly too😅.

When I read, I just felt more pity for WY and really didn’t feel this creepy feeling as shown in the drama. So I think you may be right that they could have merge the characters.

Thanks for reading. Yeah, they could do more for that scene. I read the novel too. The novel ML is worst and not so kind and gentle, he definitely more forceful towards FL to help him. I like they changed both their characters here. But just thought the scene can be more sensual;).🤷🏻‍♀️

Personal opinion, I felt just based on ep 10 the scene when ML was drugged and he found FL to help him. I find that it can be done better, in terms of atmosphere, instead I felt it’s quite distasteful Lu done. This is my issue with this director, instead of making the viewer feel that the CP is getting closer with sensuality, I felt the whole scene was so procedural. In comparison the Director that done “Blossom” can do better with such scenes.

Why do I feel ep 33 is a drag and repetitive plot, the flower ceremony again? Dejavu, this time we get to see HongNing being punish and of course the Empress is behind this. Hmmmm….

I know the family backyard politics have to happen, but it’s really not as exciting to as watch compare to the past 8ep of WS fighting territory. I can see the next few ep will be on WY stirring shit and SFL coming into the pix.

Wei Yan? He is not a bad person. Just jealous of ML and his position, and also has interest in FL.
