I am not really a fan of Ding YuXi, but ep 23, seeing DYX acting against DYX, I am super impressed. This actor is so versatile, he shows the emotions well. I felt attached to the righteous ZZ and the demon Ah Ran. As I said earlier I am more excited to see his CP with Meng ZiYi.

They are the same person except they are not according to the script they just look alike🤣.

This is filmed 3-4 years ago, so the CGI is simple and the filters tend to be very white based on the trend back then. The story is typical XianXia with green flag ML, single track mind but reckless FL who just wants to be with ML, however lots of obstruction (the typical he is immortal and has greater task and to marry someone more compatible) blah blah blah. The FL has many tribulation and multiple lives where they meet again with misunderstanding, ML kept saving her etc. So yeah, story is bland but coherent so far, pacing was okay in first arc, now moving into second arc, slows down quite a bit which I am dragging it. I am watching only because Liu XueYi’s acting is good to watch. FL is good in her role, cute but not too cringe. So you may try it out to see whether it’s your liking.

Part of us, is definitely made for such connection and to watch this angsty drama together ❤️.

I wonder why that scene was so drag. If the director wants us to sympathize with the Demon Apricot, it fail as I don’t feel anything for her death.😅

Maybe TTJ knew MoNv will be there. He is afterall the Demon God TTJ😍.

For a moment there after TTJ suck the demon juice out of GYJW and threw him off the sky…I was thinking…oh no! If MoNv didn’t catch him, he would have die from the fall. 🤣😅

Agreed. Love of Nirvana is a perfect example of strong chemistry without kisses.

Thats possible, as the camera angle and directing make a big difference in such scenes.

I feel bad for ML, he tried hard to appear affectionate but she just had her lips frozen like plastic🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️. I really wonder, why bother to make her do that. Sigh.

Second kiss at stargazing, is another dead fish kiss, I rather they don’t kiss, as LSS just looks so awkward in that scene 😓😓😓.

LSS is determine to go with him but of course TTJ wouldn’t allow that.😭😭😭 And we are left with LSS crying at Jing tomb. The flashbacks showing TTJ consoling himself with YXW’s image. Seeing that hits deep.
The only condolence is to see LSS and her daughter.
I want the book ending…why can’t they gave us that😭.

Then that beautiful scene where TTJ brought LSS to see the end of the world. And gave her confident to destroy him. LSS can’t bear to let him go…and still hopeful to reconcile with him again.
This director really do a fantastic job with capturing beautiful scenes and making the actors and world so magestic and pretty.❤️
