I agreed with this point. Her strong emotions for Wang SuiZhi was not build up enough for us to feel that she will cry so hard for his death and she will even bother to rescue him. All this while, viewers were shown how ruthless and cruel she is towards him.

Both leads in red for their wedding, they both just look gorgeous!!! I noticed SYS has such a huge golden crown accessories and RanRan has a lot of gold jewelleries on her head, and both went straight to do the deed without removing them😱😱😱🤣🤣🤣.

It’s good for me. Didn’t read the novel but as a Xian Xia drama, this is the most complete and satisfying ending for me.😍 Truly enjoyable.

It’s an investigation, revenge, with background of political plot type of drama. Strong chemistry among women, not much romance although hinted. No humour, the plot is pretty serious at time. There are some editing and plot holes here and there but overall an okay watch. I watched it because I like Liu ShiShi’s ancient psychiatrist skills and each plot revealed is quite a nice twist but not super spectacular for me. You can try the first 3 ep., to decide whether it’s your cup of tea. Enjoy.

Enjoy! For a XianXia, the angst are pretty manageable here. Both leads are quite adorable and got good chemistry.
