Yeah not thriller. Just that FL has a happy family, then her father died, abandoned by her own mother, sexually assaulted by a relative, but was safe, then experienced sexual harassment at workplace and was slapped by the perpetrator’s wife, etc.

This director is a Taiwanese director, known for his cinematic take per shot and some scenes is like a MTV. The story in first few ep focus a lot on Fl’s trauma. If you don’t mind this, you will enjoy it. Slow burn romance.

Yes, all serious tone, little romance. IMO, very different from Judge Dee. This plot is more of a uncovering injustice and revenge plot, less of investigation compare to Judge Dee.

Hi Pytheos, i mean more of ROM-com feel for Hidden Love, Chen Zhe Yuan and Zhao LuSi’s CP. Did you watch that one?. This one, First Frost, has a little bit more push and pull in their relationship and more angst, as FL here has lots of past trauma. Are you watching this too?
