Yeah, this type of XianXia trope can be draggy. It’s FL amnesia and behaving like a child then ML’s turn to do the same. Sound in writing, author or screenwriters felt these tropes were preferred by audience. 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️. Have you watch ‘The Blossoming Love’, I recommend it as, it is for 2025 start of the year, the best XianXia, IMO.

I see…this drama should really keep to that and made him the scheming type and always using MQG, instead of showing this love obsessed SuYu. From their dialogue in past and present, it did hint that Su Yu has always been asking MQG favour, like make pills, defend for his country,etc. This drama should just stick to that in his characterization and not made him seem like he really in love with MQG. 🤦🏻♀️
