This director is a Taiwanese director, known for his cinematic take per shot and some scenes is like a MTV. The story in first few ep focus a lot on Fl’s trauma. If you don’t mind this, you will enjoy it. Slow burn romance.

Yes, all serious tone, little romance. IMO, very different from Judge Dee. This plot is more of a uncovering injustice and revenge plot, less of investigation compare to Judge Dee.

yup true. the castings depend on the production team. VM doesn’t seem to have much opportunity to be ML for S type production. C show biz industry can be quite harsh.

Same here, I like how VM portray Sang Yan in Hidden Love; but also love BJT’s Sang Yan. So for me I rather see them as separate drama…to persevere the interpretation by different actors.
Trailer ep 24…seems to show ML is marrying Wu Xuan Er for political reasons and YPA is at risk of suicide😱. Poor YPA, can’t have a day of peace even the case is resolved, the third girl from the case, has to come and haunt her. I am prepared that this may not have HE, despite all she has done.

💯 agreed. Sharing some thoughts. Like the symbolic meaning of the title. In my interpretation, this title means ‘hard to coax’, I felt it’s not referring to ML or FL, but more in context of FL’s trauma and her closed heart. FL has to go through her journey of self healing and it only happen after she met ML again, he rekindle her heart, so she has to heal herself in order to be able to reach out to him. ML just needs to be around her, and he will eventually learn how she feels. His not giving up on her, gave her strengths to slowly heal and reach back out to him. A beautiful process.
