In XianXia world, often it is seldom clear explain why there is a demon child and why only a few people have the five spirit vines to practice and attain englightenment like FL. It just happened. lol. So ML is just born with that and because his father realised ML had that, he asked the mask man to further cultivate more powerful strengths in ML and also want to control ML hence the dark spirit spring was inserted in ML since young. The eternals are just a joke themselves, they believe anything that is dark are bad, hence they also labelled MQG as ‘bad’ because she doesn’t follow their rules. It’s just prophecy to say that demon child can destroy the world so they must destroy demon child. MQG removed the dark spirit spring so he can’t used the powers but he is still the demon child.

Yeah, in most of this type of XianXia show, wedding didn’t seem like a big thing. As audience, I am just happy that the leads are alive and they are together. 😅 Enjoy!

Ceremony is not that important for the leads as it’s just a ritual of mortal practice. The main key is they are together in the end.

I understand what you mean. The story is all so familiar and the tropes were so commonly used and overplayed, so unless something else is captivating to keep the attention going. I have been holding on just because nothing else I am watching now. Yesterday, I even decided to just dropped it, but came back today to check whether anything interesting going on.

This villian character, Wei Jiu is just too funny, can’t be taken seriously. 🤣

It was not clearly explained, but hinted that Su Yu likes her and he was the one that gave her the talisman and so would have taught her how to use them in protection.

I really can’t take him seriously as a villain, every time he comes on screen, I will laugh at his endless effort of trying so hard to get attention but failed miserably. 🤣
