I watched till ep 4, this director definitely emphasizes on scenes of romantic theme, FL’s little gesture of awkwardness and shyness, quite nicely captured. Liang Jie is always good at such role. First time seeing the macho Chen ZheYuan, interesting portrayal. As for the story, this is a romance focus and not expecting realism, so watchable, my only complaint is that the make up for both main leads can be milder, less powdery. I like the ruggedness look of SML. I felt SML and SFL can never come in between them, however if FL just kept being shy and push away ML; and ML not actively pursuing FL, there bound to be unspoken misunderstanding tropes.

I’m on episode 10 … and FL is cute but I think the seducing part is a bit overdone and too much for my preferences…
Here is another opinion to share. To me, she stopped seducing him as ep progresses, she does keeps to her boundaries. But after ML fallen, their romance is actually quite sweet, and ML will try all he can to save her. Their relationships are good to watch till last 5 ep., which it gets complicated because of a larger issues of threat to humanity. For a XianXia lover, this is definitely worth the watch to the end. You can decide for yourself as you watch on.;)
