Well, if you follow the story, you will realise that 2ML was bound to Chaos Pearl because they were created together. Their love for each other was more of family love. Till the end 2ML’s identity as Fate was trying to stop an apocalypse (Hao Tian) from destroying the world. IMO, he is not even an 2ML, he will never come between the main CP as their bond is strong. In the end, both leads understand 2ML’s action and intention and they worked together. Not sure whether this is too much spoiler. But on this page, there are a few commenters very judge mental. So you can watch on and decide for yourself. I feel it’s a very good XianXian story and everything comes to a closure in the end:) Your choice.

I am sure viewers after watching ep40, will have lots of questions. This drama tries to explain the timeline concept but it may still be confusing.

There is two timeline being shown. However after the destroying of Hao Tian, only the DG ZM went back to 10,000 years to repeat the story. Hence he still have to fight all the way up and gone through the whole imprisonment. So the XXC can be borne and be at the end with MXL. Am I making sense? lol.

I just finished ep 40….hmmmm. A full cycle, wish there were more fights scene in the end, but we see more mind challenge. I don’t know, have some mix feelings of how this last ep is. I need sometime to process😅.

Suddenly Hao Tian reminds me of the Prometheus’ engineers…create, not happy, descend and destroy.😅

However her sacrifice reminded Fate and gave him strengths to continue what he intended to do. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Ep39, finally CP, Fate and ZM working together…CP questioned Fate, “you have so much in your mind and plans, why didn’t you discuss with me…” I was thinking Fate have thought, “how to discuss with you, when you are busy being in love”. lol!
