I finished it. Note to all watching this, this first season is not so much about the leads’ romance but FL’s journey. So don’t feel disappointed if you felt that there isn’t much on the romance dept. Wait for season two.

And he has no drama training, so for him to be able to portray a grey character well, shows his talent and effort.🤩 ChunTian dear, you will definitely needs more tissue box when you watch TBL🤣

This is her first FL role, and she shines!, I am confident she will be recognised with more good script after this drama. It’s really sad that this drama is not given the justified recognition as it should be.

Yes he is brilliant in that drama. He shown his complexity of the character in his facial expression. That drama’s villian is not a true evil villian, he is just so distorted and lost with abandonment issues🤣🤣🤣. Can’t really hate him when you see his backstory. Join us to the watch🤩.

Ep28, that confession in front of FL’s friends is his true and real feelings. He just can’t confess to her directly.

ML has always love FL since beginning, it’s love at first sight, but he has a political agenda that he can’t confess to her as he doesn’t want to have her affected by his issues. He truly admitted it when FL’s two friends were questioning them.

This is a historian drama, so love confession won’t really happen. Everytjing is shown in their interaction and gesture, as well as how they support each other. However ML definitely has fallen first but he can’t confess to FL as he has reservation and ‘bigger’ political issues to handle.

They flirt a lot…everybody around observed it, just the two of them didn’t realise.

JCY has fallen hard and MuDan is unaware😅.

Wow…I learnt so much about the Tang’s symbolic wedding ceremony, even the undressing ceremony. So sweet and interesting.
