Sure, open or close relationship, it’s still cheating. I am not disputing the definition of cheating, I am saying that the set up for the CPs here clearly is about toxic relationship and discovering true love.
I really like the dialogue among the three leads, they can be profound and so self aware especially 2nd ML and his understanding of his own emotions. I also really like FL’s character, straightforward.

Novel readers said it’s all him, one person, same soul kind of concept, but the one that save MXL was a future self. So current XXC can’t remember but I saw an OST scene that he will remember later who he is.
Before judging whether this is good or bad, try watching it for at least 5ep. to determine. As the first few ep are only setting up. If the theme is what you dislike then dropped it;). The synopsis is clear: a visitor falling in love with astronaut in space. Cheating is lying and two timing in a committed relationship. How do a couple cheat if they don’t love their partner in the first place or it’s a force relationship? So if you don’t like second chance in love or finding soul mate kind of story, then it’s not for you. The only thing I find it being messy, is that this drama is too ambitious, they tried to pack many different themes in two ep. and try to push one’s imagination about several sensitive themes. It’s not always realistic as it’s a drama after all. Chill and Peace!
