Answering this…I dislike when one lead choose to hide the truth and endure death/sacrifice. This is consider selfish love. If you have to sacrifice, why don’t both talk about it and spend the rest of their remaining time cherishing and create happy moments.
The another trope that I can’t stand is Damsel in distress…seriously why…🤦🏻‍♀️Hahhaha…I have been using this emoji a lot for the past two qns🤣😅.

Just saw ep 12 preview, seems like ML will show his affection to FL. Good progression of plot so far, no drag. What will ML do to get FL out of her identity being revealed?

I really like this SML, he is such good pal with ML and FL. I felt he should have his own love interest too.

Depends on what you consider similar. This is a XianXia, novel adaptation, couple with angst, push and pull, third party involvement, multiple lives and redemption arc, evil vs good, human world vs spirit world, sacrifice, etc. IMO, it’s good so far and chemistry is great with the three leads, story pacing is coherent. Try 1-4ep, and see. Hope you enjoy this;)

I have the same thought when I watched this….i want to go Macau. lol! I love the slice of life until ep 14, it became draggy for me. Overall an enjoyable watch. Enjoy!

This is interesting. So my guess is this story starts at their second lives. And their first lives were as Zhao Ming and Ah Zhu, which they forgotten. I am excited to see how they will tell about their lives of reborn. As so far since ep 8, there seems to be subtle hints showing us that ML and FL was already connected in previous lives apart from them meeting when GL was a small vines spirit.

It will be further explained in latest ep8.
