Who are the main couples ? I mean who ends up with who
The first four names in the cast list as main roles are the two main couples. The CP are Chen Jian Hui with Han Jun Hao; and Mai You Ge with Xu Jun Le. As of now, still not sure they will all end up together.
Can anybody pls tell me why the side characters are taking up the screen time while we only have 2 eps left and…
I feel that this production team is really ambitious, so they added in more side characters to boost the main storyline. Or they may have anything else to show us for main characters, just filling the ep. to the end. I don’t know, just my guess.
We have two main couples then suddenly so many other sidelines couple developing their storyline…the two main couples seem to fate off in the background…and this only has 18ep? Ambitious writing.

No SY manages to convince FKY to turn himself in. That case ended as it is. The twin SY is a separate story that will likely bring over season 3 if any.
