Oh, I finished Dune, it’s good, can’t wait for season 2. The story come together so well and the actors were all so good😍.

Ah, I manage to finish this;) Was waiting to read your review. As always so well written and love your ‘Hell King rejects Song Mo’. lol! It’s so true that this character would have die again if not for Duo Zhao’s wits. I love her CP with JinYong, too bad that guy is destined to be a monk. Also love Chen Jia and Zhao ZhangRu’s CP, wish they have invested more time on them. As you, I feel it’s overall a good one definitely a dark horse, and good attempt by this director. The voice acting was superb, hence we can connect with the actors. Will keep a look out on this director’s future works.

Oh do try out, if you want to watch TJC’s versatile acting, this drama features a lot. Some of the first few cases were quite good too.

I have wanted to also put ‘To The Wonders’, such a peaceful, serene and beautiful landscapes. Then I recalled another drama which to me was another dark horse for Wu Xia that was so underrated with a good story…
27. Heroes by actors Qin JinJie and Liu YuNing set in Qing Dynasty about an unusual group that came together to uncover a lost treasure but to only realised actually there is a twist and deeper political plot on rebellion during the Qing period. Fantastic acting, good story, well paced tension on investigation, well choreographed fight scenes with actual fight and a grand message in the end. One of the best Wu Xia for me in 2024 and yet so underrated.

It’s director creativity of trying to show to person connected even with their mask on, they speak to each other like without mask, honest and open. But technically they only see each others’ eyes:)
