Yes, the cases are intense and S2 focus more on the cases, the perpetrators and victims’ psychological and emotional turmoil. S2 has different script writer and production team, so focus also differ from S1. I felt this two season can be watch independently. Every ep is intense indeed.

I don’t think Du Cheng’s character arc is that bias and judge mental. He is actually very understanding towards SY, hence he is afraid that SY will go too deep with every case. He is the concrete, logical brain in the show, and he is also quite perspective as shown in his quick wits an observation.

This is my second time seeing Chloe Xie in a role, I must say she can act and she really dominates with screen presence. Hope to see her in FL role soon.

Qn3. Favourite actor for 2024 has to be Liu Xue Yi for me this year. He can act and very good being grey. His laughter in KMLM still haunt me😅.

Yes, in earlier scene when she was helping him after he was beaten by his father, she noticed his grey hair. Thought that was a sign of poison. I suspected that his father has been slowly poisoning him, just not sure how yet. Then now the hand is another hint.

Blossom is definitely a dark horse, worth the watch. Enjoy! I am also watching Under the Skin 2, but after ep14, I preferred the season 1 style of storytelling, S2 feels different. However Bai Lu will soon have her new drama release.
