Ep 5, the confrontation scene is really fantastic, case nicely resolved, and then we get to see the couple relationship, they are really so lovely! Gu Zheng is a bold, and decisive, another great character too!

I love the humour inserted in seriousness.

Xiao YiShui, is a funny yet scary character. Hai Yi Tian is such a versatile actor. I am so impressed!

Great casting…Song Han’s mom and Song Han really look alike.

Yeah, I was subscribed to it because of Game of Throne, then just kept it. Glad finally has something else to watch, almost cancel it.

I feel this season, the script writers are trying to expand SY’s role with more creative elements. SY is not just a forensic artist, he is also able to read deeper psychological states of others, learnt to be more aware of his intuition and infer from them. Hence you see SY making lots of hypothetical guess which crashes with DC’s value.

I am really burnout from this kind of tropes. It just feels like every man here wants to marry and possess FL. Is there like no better story trope between men and women?

Yes, the TV series is in HBO, not Netflix, my mistakes. it’s mainly the author’s son writing on few thousand years before Dune story, focusing on the sisterhood, intriguing story. Worth a try if you like Dune world, enjoy!

Oh…saw that title, Lupin. it’s good? I am watching Dune Prophecy. I am hardcore sci-fi fan of that series🤣.

I think I am burn out. It’s a good story with good acting. I like both Seven and ZYC, but after watching back to back on a few similar tropes of business, leads suffering, and revenge political plots, the show couldn’t hold my attention. But I do recommend as it has good reviews so far, I stopped half way, maybe will pick it up again someday;)

This is tough…but here goes:
4. Fangs of Fortune, Return after a Long Dream by Li YuChun…an ear worm. lol!
5. Deep Lurk - Republican era, not my favourite but as usual ChengYi’s performance surprises me and the story was good.
6. Brocade Odyssey - I tried and picked up a few time after putting it on hold, just didn’t sustain my attention.

It’s poetic indeed. My take is that their fate sealed by past live dying together when ML blood spill onto FL. Hence in her second life, when she stops rejecting him and their fate together, the petals disappeared. It’s also through that mark that ML first recognition of her being his soul mate when both are wearing masks.

This is not a Rom-Com story and main focus is not on the romance. It is about the two leads’ journey of revenge and coming together to fight fate. Sounds like this is not what you sign up for.
