Some parts of it. I like the first arc, then find it force in second arc and till now can’t reconcile why they have to break the CP in third arc. Just a silly trend of BE.

Yeah, it started well with an interesting premise like the Brahm Stoker Dracula, then it’s just went down hill with very poor put together story filled with plot holes and mediocre villian. But ML and FL’s acting were good.

🙌🏻I put it on hold after the leads got married. The storyline become messy after that. Waiting for all to drop and then May pick it up again.

FL’s past wasn’t fully clarify yet, apart from her being abandoned by her family as they all died, she ended up being a beggar and met her Master who is a pirate. Maybe she has more complicated family background, we really won’t know.

He has guessed and she also told him. They have good chemistry as old couple;)

MLCB is a good detective drama. Totally enjoyed that one, Li Lian Hua;) But be prepared of the ending.

The leads said in their interviews that the director and his wife gave them like 800 videos and ask them to do ‘homework’ and practice 🤣🤣🤣.

Different. This FL is quite domesticated and ML’s family really loves her a lot.

ML is trying to figure out what’s going on and trying to protect his wife. As FL couldn’t do the killing 15yrs ago, she fell out with them and met ML. The Li family was being framed. Some higher up hired the pirates to massacre them but the intention wasn’t revealed yet, even though the case was solved. Think likely will be a deeper intertwined plot.

His wife is part of the pirates group that were hired to kill the Li family on the boat 15yrs ago. The most recent killing is not her doing but her God-brother who is back to seek revenge, this are all revealed in ep5.

I actually like that arc too. It was one of the navie SangJiu with the arrogant God of War, pure love turn bad.

Hahahha…Pytheos dear, you have to choose secondary characters not main lead.🤣
