In another perspective, she used false hope to keep him alive for 8years. Would he have lose his purpose and meaning in life since the beginning if she told him the truth? Would she feels guilty if he actually die in one of the excursion to retrieve the medicine since she set the quest for him? Hence her responsibility to always save him when he came back broken because she sent him on the quest. Itâs hard to tell whatâs right and wrong, or how it will be. But she make a choice, so she has to see through it, like the ML.
To your qns, Yes, yes and now he still havenât figure out a medicine to save her life. In the beginning, he is only using her as a chess piece to set a stage for his goal which is to find out who framed him and take revenge. She is never important to him. Watch on, more will be revealed.

Noticed how Tong being younger, but yet able to take responsibility of his choices and knew itâs not her fault. But FL just still stuck in the loop that she is the main person that cause his misery. I felt Tong now has his memories and he will know his goal will still be to killed the sect leader and then he can be at peace. Be prepared for more angst in scenes to come.

Her self sacrificing mindset tends to be projected on others she loved, which is also similarly seen in ML, hence he can understand her and gets manipulated by herđ. They are suitable for each other, just wondering who will end up sacrificing themselves and make another regret.

I agreed with you. How would one forget a charming face like ML;). However here the drama seems to make FL a workbrain and when she first met him again as adult, she was semi fainting, so possible she canât recall him. But what I find it hard to believe is ML since young who has lost contact of her, and yet been tracking her when she becomes an actress.
