This whole village sequence is sweet but feels so unreal. He is suddenly able to be so relax and all soft, the character transition here just feels like a different person. Or I see it as a different person😅.

Yes, in a way, he can’t live recklessly and die, as he knew she wouldn’t want him to but he has to live the rest of his life grieving for her. The living is always more torturous, that’s human condition of love.😓
How ironic her death, died by self sacrificing and not with the one she love. I sometimes felt that this drama wants to show some reality of such possible tragedy, I still feel sad for her and wish she would have some better fate.

No, this author is known to write poetic sad ending with big sacrifice act. They never meet again after he was sent off by FL with the ingredients he found. Then he got distracted managing his nephew’s death and his sect matters. He never even get to see her before she dies. That’s how cruel this author can be on this FL. 😓

It’s brain washing, he made them believe he rescued them and constantly used the same phrase that they are indebted to him. It’s a like Stockholm syndrome. Terrible but that’s a psychopath behaviour.

Yes, this villian is a true psychopath, manipulate his victim and all for his self interest. He never treat any of his adopted kids as human, just slaves or his tools. It’s natural all of them will turn against him.

Yup, I am okay with the ending, I have expected it. It’s satisfactory, but do feel FL’s life is so sad. But like you say, that’s how the novelist wrote it.

HZB just kept being distracted by sect matters…he is too loyal to his sect. If he has listen to his gut feel, maybe there will be moments that he won’t miss her.

Villian died after much effort. Tong survived treated by FL.

To me it’s a justified end, but feel with moments of frustration and the last 6ep have lots of angst…be prepared.

The interesting fact that Miao Feng and Miao Shui given the same surname by the villian were actually real siblings in the and their moments of reconciliation was so short. What’s with the dying sisters theme here!!!

It’s a dignified end for FL…but like her teacher said, her life is so cruel, she lives half a lifetime seeking to revive her dead love, and when she learnt to love and found love, she has to die.!
