ML is very skilled fighter, how did he get so easily and seriously injured by two small villians? FL knows ML in danger, went to take horse to find him, so why can’t her disciple tag along, it’s just a few minutes apart? Then ML almost died and FL rescued him, immediately he can get up and brought FL back, why can’t her disciple do it? He can ride faster somehow? And the granny’s role is always the filler of communication, the CP don’t talk to each other, she helps to fill in their story. The CPs’ body state in this ep was just taking turns to fluctuates. And that female villian, is this even a time to take bath….I really scratch my head on all these odd points.🤷🏻‍♀️

Same here. It’s a very short novel, 20 over chapters I recalled and not many plot twist, so wonder will there be new changes in this screenplay. This drama is definitely a great showcase of actors talented acting;)

She is the same YiNing. This is not written like the novel.

I have no issues with current ShenYuan’s portrayal by ZWY, however I will be intrigued to see the novel ShenYuan in drama too. I am glad the other drama (KMLM) characters tried to stick close to novel.

Agreed too! This is definitely more intense and not mentioning how they ‘really’ tried to kill each other since beginning and the politics are mainly palace. I am wondering whether the old Emperor is as scheming, but so far not seems to.

Yeah at this point, he still has no evidence that CP is behind the massacre and framing. But FL’s survival instinct inspired him to keep her around. He will definitely continue to manipulate her as part of his plans to revenge and find out the truth. That’s interesting about ML’s character, he never hides his intention to FL.

He is a complicated man and definitely no plans to be in love with her. But her survival instinct inspired him to keep her around for a while. He is still implementing his plans.
