Well, depends on your preference, this one is still going on about finding the fifth ingredient of the medicine and ML getting hurt and FL rescuing him. Probably ep 19 will be where Tong meet FL. Slow burnt and not much going on in the plot. The Rise of Ning is also slow burnt on ML gaining recognition and FL still searching for her mom’s murderer. IMO, Kill Me Love Me, has more moving plot and now at the phase of FL trusting ML and ML starting to care for FL, with more of their CP screen time on their sweetness.

Ep 9., repetitive use of dog as symbol. Daring Mei Lin use this to describe MuRong JingHe. He ever always said Mei Lin is a stray cat. So will this dog-cat relationship work out.

As Mei Lin said he seems like a fierce dog and can bit but is actually quite kind companion🤣.

The ShangXi festival is quite nicely set up, sets, street food and live performance. One CP in love but unaware, three others suffering in unrequited love.

The drama and novel characters are definitely different. The essence are there but in drama ML expressed more humane emotions and kindness. Don’t read the novel.😅

I agreed, Zeng ShunXi has such a baby face. Hence I struggle with his CP with Li Qin in his latest costume drama.😅 Wang XingYue in the Double definitely looks older for his age.
