MuRong JingHe’s screen presence was always magestic!!! Love how Liu XueYi has designed his laughs for the character, crazy and yet powerful. LXY’s acting is always impressive. The first 3 ep., we see a range of emotions being shown by both leads. Wu JingYan, another fantastic actress, her expression were spot on, the tortured scene and her helplessness yet will to survive. After ‘the double’, this is a further upgrade on intensity of emotions.
The pacing is good, so far we have established their motivation, their relationships and what they are fighting for. This is truly an enemies to lovers trope. ML will abandon FL anytime because his priority is revenge. FL is not a blind assassin, she is also a strong survivor.
I also like the XiYan Prince and Princess. This drama will have my full attention from now on.

Wow!!! Finally found some time in betweeen busy work schedule and caught up with 3 ep. Mind-blown in the acting, pacing and the sets were beautiful…thoughts in spoiler below.

Hahahha…in the novel, he is much a scumbag to FL, and he is focus on his revenge plot, FL is only his chess piece until much much later does he realise why he can’t let FL go. A crazy toxic relationship.

I think it’s the filter and make up design they use here, some scenes, both have perfect complexion and some scenes, their face colour looks off😅. It could also be the cold that makes his face spastic.

I am just surprise how often this concern came up. If they watched enough c drama, it’s known such love relationship will never pass C censorship.

Miao Feng’s role is not suppose to have any emotions because of the skill he cultivates, but I constantly see him in the ‘uneasy’.😅
