Yes totally, well summarized. Cui Liang has been dropping subtle hints to remind Pei Yan to let JiangCi go, but he kept using her.
I actually feel more for WeiZhao’s struggles and he has so many of his people kept sacrificing for him, as he said he could have and should have kill JiangCi from the beginning, but he somehow didn’t. Although he uses JiangCi, he does have a softer side of him towards her and definitely for his people. I felt Pei Yan is more scheming and heartless, trained by his mother to strive for only his ambition.

Absolutely! Of course we see that Xiao Ge agreed because he wants to know his birth mystery, but he is also a good person that choose to take up the responsibility even after he knew the truth. He could have walked away but he didn’t, very much similar character like Wu Xie. I am so glad he found Wu Xie and PangZhi, they are his Soul mates.

As ep progresses JiangCi is seeing beyond the ruthless Wei Zhao but his pain and suffering. She is also seeing more of Pei Yan’s lack of empathy and will do whatever it takes to serve his goals, probably made her emphatise deeper for Wei Zhao, but of course Wei Zhao’s good look must play a big part too. 🤣😅

Ah, XiaoGe left the video to remind himself, but he is stuck serving his term for Wu Xie behind Bronze door, so as a result Zhang HaiKe thought it was Wu Xie that suppose to rectify the problem. So I was right that the previous plant bug that has longevity properties is because it fed on Dong Chan’s blood, who is a member of Zhang. Ep 31 explained Zhang’s clan longevity mystery and the Tibetan Sea Flower’s mystery, linking back to Wang’s clan and the next story, Tomb of the Sea happens after ep 31 and then we see it’s fast forward to 10 yrs later to ep 32, where Wu Xie and PangZhi settled all the issues for XiaoGe and praying to the dead PanZhi and heading to pick XiaoGe, planning their retirement plans.
Wu Xie was so nervous on what XiaoGe will say to him and the first phrase XiaoGe said to Wu Xie was “You grown old.” Lol!
Wu Xie’s curiosity leads him to adventure and he realised after all adventures, they long to go home, they retired to rain village and become farmers, steal alcohol and chickens and celebrate their first New Year, helping neighbours…so sweet!
Have to rant here as can’t believe that this story is finished. Happy ending and good finale closure to the trios.

I love this one much better than the other two.;) Probably because how the story were told and the good acting skills by the whole casts.
