I love the Full River Red too! I was literally glued to the screen from beginning to the end. Fantastic work. The only struggle with current drama is the dialect, very hard to watch without proper sub., they speak too fast and I don’t understand Canto🤣, so lost some context in their conversation.

Just realised that this director done Dashing Youth🤩. Agreed on this point, I have followed most of Zhang Yimou’s work. His story telling is simple but his cinematography were always beautiful and he can capture emotions well on frame. This is his first investment in drama, interesting choice. Initially I thought it was propaganda about law enforcer and the uprising of party drug syndicates in China, was pleasantly surprise by the story arc.

Preview is always misleading…not going to watch it😅.

He really done a fantastic job in this character. Esp ep 8, that facial expression when SeokRyu pushed away his hands and ask her Ex to help her to hospital. Expression of how his world crashes at that moment.

This whole drama feels like having Wu Xie to experience what Xiao Ge has gone through in the past journey.
