Ah…thanks. I think that’s the one I didn’t watch. So ZQL being the leader, endured the ultimate exposure to the meteorite hence he wouldn’t age at all.

Hope this drama at least give a closure to ZQL’s story and maybe his legend can live on, compile by Wu Xie. He is truly manipulated to be the savior for Zhang clan. Like the Zhang elder said, “Sacrficing one for the whole clan is worth it…such selfishness…” That’s a nice idea, to have Wu Xie and Pangzi’s family have him as part of their family members, generation after generation.

Totally, Zhang Nian has gone crazy. Sadly I just saw ep 19, Zhang Jiu Rui didn’t survive but he died for a good cause and finally he came to peace. He always idolize Zhang QiLin, and never truly abandon his beliefs, he was only angry that ZQL forgotten about him and disappeared. I love the mystery revealing, the sadness of ZQL’s fate when he became leader, such a lonely journey. Indeed the beautiful landscape of Tibet? Nepal? Himalayas? Zhang’s family dressed like Tibetan or Nepalese, probably inspired by that rich culture.
Just a thought. If since beginning YM and his group spend sometime to investigate who is the Masked Man in White, we won’t have so many deaths and would this drama be shorter?🤭
