This is how it possible be interpreted…after JL said she doesn’t like the word lover, Duke told her to be more open minded. She said that word can get her kill, which was true as it was what had happened to her previously and even now if she is Duke’s lover, it can put her at risk of being kill literally but that threat will not happen to him, since he is Duke and probably toying with her. So he assured her that once she ‘let go’, she will feel better.

Oh I see, I must have missed that. Xiao Qi’s identity is still a mystery and where have the real Bian Jie gone to. I won’t be able to catch ep 10 today, got some work to do, probably will catch up tomorrow, two ep., hopefully more plot will be revealed;)
