Very different feel. IMO I wouldn’t compare the two dramas as they both have different focus. can try the first 5 ep and decide whether it appeal to your taste.

In a recent interview with Yu Shi, the ML, he mentioned that Ba Tai’s returned to the village is not that he will work on his relationship, it’s more that he has come to terms, grown and decided to return home. And the short hair cut is symbolic. Yu Shi said when he maintained his long hair, it was a rebellious expression, but when he cut it short, it’s his acceptance to who he is.

Actually it’s realistic that in order to stop a frantic horse is to shoot it. But I do feel it’s really not necessary to shoot the neck and kill it. wonder why he didn’t shoot other parts instead as he is a good archer. The fast kill is a common practice for animals dying, relieve the pain instantly. However the cutting head off is probably their normadic practice.
