Same here, I mentioned below that I was lost about the message of this drama😅. But still enjoyable to watch.

Yup, I also feel the last 3 ep was poorly put together and what a choppy ending.

Overall it’s an interesting story, JBR has shown he can act very well here, from the perpetrator to victim and a grey character.

When the whole plot is revealed and everyone knew the old man has gone crazy, none of them thought of tying him up first…but I guess if that happens, it won’t end at ep10 and we won’t get ML’s redemption by dying. Just my thoughts.

It’s discussed earlier that these are fictional characters, even TongMengHui and Altar treasure hunt was an urban myth. It’s a spin off story of the heroes around that time. The real fact was how Sun Wen and his rebel group were gathering money and Bei Yang, Yuan Shi Kai group existed in real life and were also involved in the overthrown of the Qing Dynasty. But so far I think to avoid censorship sensitivity, no mentioned of Yuan Shi Kai, except known as the fat fisherman. Enjoy! So far this Wu Xia has been quite faun to follow.

Master Mo Kun’s death was so heroically done. His fight with MSD was so cool!
So MSD and ZBF both had their valuable lesson, I wondered has WDB learn anything so far? Still blindly serving his faith?
The three old guy that came together to support the change, Chen Yu, Mo Kun and the Court official, were like the older version of ZBF, MSD and WDB, hopefully crafting the right path for them.
This Lucky chap is still highly suspicious and may not be who he said he is.

Does he only want to be accepted or he wants more, he wants to be seen, and acknowledge. FeiKe is a sad character, so smart, yet traumatize by terrible parenting. I fully blamed his father, who had an affair and abandoned him. Yet later on took him in but treated him like a slave. His father has no guts, to even pay respect to his first wife or fetch his sons, he allows his second wife to dictate so many things. Fei Ke could have great potential if someone in his developmental years shown a little more care.

Yes, the latest ep 14, he was at his Shifu’s tomb and reflecting. And based on the interview, it’s likely he is going to die as a hero.
