Maybe he did, we didn’t see how that end but he make different choices and none of the girls were hurt. If the cycle of natural law is that he kept going into this cycle and if he is able to constantly make wise choices, then every life times after, he will always be free. I have the same thought too about SL’s teacher, suddenly disappeared and went home to meet SL’s father, like some scenes were missing. But it’s neglectable, so I let it go🤣. Really love the last two ep., but still somewhat feels their kiss scenes just not smooth😅, but that’s me. I gave the whole drama a 9/10 too.

Ep 2, in come Ye Bing Cheng, somehow never likes her in her first appearance. The character design just feels such a damsel in making. Then we see the elegant Deng Wei and the skinny TTJ. My first look of hostage prince, I am already heartache. It’s my third watch, but always feel sad for him😭.

- LSS is very beautiful here, already very goddess and love how Bai Lu portray the role, the brave, courageous and strong.

The guard son will try to advance a maid, HuaZhi will be there and while she was about to be attacked, ML safe her and beat the guard. The next scene ML will teach FL how to ride. And next scene FL was given advice by Grandma about her heart being affected if she romantically likes someone, hence FL decided to ask ML how he think about her. And ML was dumbfounded. Ep 14 seems to have some progression in their romance.

Here’s my guess, the Emperor loves ML’s mother. But she chooses to marry ML’s father (which is Emperor’s brother). So the Emperor purposely send ML away since young and take special care of ML so as to make ML indebted to him and distance from his own father. Emperor manipulated ML to thinking that his mother’s death is cause by ML’s father or the step mother. The Emperor also used ML to cause jealousy among his own sons and to see who will want to take the throne. That’s why ML say that the Emperor doesn’t trust anyone in the palace and he is also a pawn to the Emperor, this my guess.

Yeah, since the very beginning XZ is never a serious God, he is always making joke at everything even the moment of dying, he wants SL to smile and make fun of her ugly smile, what a refreshing character for an old God.🤣

And the FIL told him as an Ancient God, he really lacking…🤣🤣🤣 Is that a slight disapproval from FIL?😅

A HE and very satisfying…seeing so many Xian Xia drama for the past 2 years, this one gave the most complete ending in my opinion.
