Ep15, such sweetness between the CP, FL just needed a shoulder to lean on and ML is there. Can see that ML would want to tell FL but it’s also a means to protect her, so not to let her know too much. I like this ep. I kind of understands the Aunties and cousins concerns, it is after all a historical time with old practices and prejudices on women’s role. Really love this script and the themes explored. Every episode is interesting. On to next ep. where FL finds out ML’s secret.

It’s 40ep., so I am sure there will be more challenges that this CP has to overcome. But given HuaZhi’s liberal and logical thinking, the first huddle is definitely ML’s hidden identity. But I believe they will sort it out because FL is design to be an understanding character and then will work together to overcome adversity and manage that psychotic emperor. That’s their journey I will enjoy watching;)

Maybe when you watch on more ep, your perspectives may shift. Beauty is in the eye of beholder. ML has always been admired by all goddesses so never a surprise to him and he is also their idol. ML had never taken interest in them till he met SL. SL is slow in her affection and emotions, she is all fight and not sensitive to feelings, hence she has always fail to see MoFang interest in her. SL is not jealous of ML, partly she is still crowded by her responsibilities and priorities. It may seem a slow burn in their relationship, but you will see that they truly have only each other as ep progresses. Enjoy watching;)!

However Gaiman always have a queer way in expressing love and relationships, that make his works interesting. The first season was mainly Terry Pratchett’s work. But second season is where Gaiman adds in his own creative liberty and storyline.😍 Love how the angels and demons are just so foolish🤣.
