Thanks much! I tried War of Faith, a few ep, but put it on hold for now, the intensity was a little too much maybe will pick it up later, Wang YiBo’s acting not too bad there. I also tried Sword and Fairy, but I can’t and have to dropped it as I can’t compare it with original. This is like The Return of Condo Hero’s, can’t shake the old version. I am only watching the family melodrama Blossom in Adversity, so far the story is progressing well and likes this kind of women empowered drama. 🤣 Must be in that mood.

🤦🏻‍♀️ That’s really not the smartest way to film a kiss scene. I have seen Lin GengXin and Tan SongYun in another drama. Their kiss scene seems more natural. It’s the angle and directing skills that make a big difference😓.

Hahaha…they were so conscious about it. Think both have shared in interviews that they really hate kiss scenes. Find that tough in their industry unless one do a genre with no romance in it.🤣

So ML found out FL is the little girl that consoled him when young. So sweet. And manage to find the Aunty that set the fire through FL’s hint. So the main culprit is the step mom, and her reason is to protect his father…wow! What a piece of writing!!! Impressive but in a way makes one feel sympathy towards the Step Mom. So ML’s maternal family was plotting to rebel and overthrow the Emperor at that time. And his father is really another ‘piece of sh*t’. 😓Such complication.😱

Ep 17/18…so ML’s mother death is revealed.

It’s his first WuXia if I am not wrong, and I am waiting for emotional scenes to figure out whether his acting or is it this role that has flat narration and stone look😂.

IMO note how this drama CGI design on the Beyond Heaven, it feels like a very simplified version of space or ‘Milky way’.🤣
