Teading your reviews, I am still clear that I won’t continue because emotionally I won’t be strong enough to take it even though the ending was on a positive note, I think the suffering is too real for me to watch. I love Li LanDi (FL), she has always been a great actress and can deliver her role well. I am not sure about Lin Yi’s acting, but glad he took in this challenging role. Ep 17, Pan Yue suddenly remembered the danger he will get YCW in if he acknowledge or expose her, so he maintained her secrets but was so happy to know she is alive. This reveal was a little too anti-climatic and so logical that I can’t fault it, but thought they would have some drama. Guess maybe later, now our ML is going to find opportunity to get closer and closer to SQZ🤣.

Agreed! Love FL’s character design, decisive, strong, responsible and smart. She also fights well too. A true commander. And LGX suits this role well, laid back, silent yet fill with wisdom from his behaviour and looks. Poor Mo Fang won’t stand a chance here.
