I am excited to see Netflix version of Three Body. So big budget so visual must be spectacular, and hoping it won’t go too wrong if they follow the book closely. I am only trying out Burning Flames, surprised that with the hype, CGI was only so-so and Allen Ren really should just continue to use his voice dubber and not try to read the dialogue, it didn’t work well.
I finished the Three Body Trilogy via audiobook too, it’s so much easier and the narration was good. I wonder when C drama will release S2 or S3.

Yeah, when powerful being, immortal became corrupted like Hei Long, mortal became slaves here. The purpose of hanging the dead king’s body is to remind others never to rebel or the outcome will be as such. Lucifer also manipulates human in his amusement. I was thinking of Zeus.

This is like the old Greek mythology where Gods are selfish, powerful and bullied humans. So this story is where the mortals fight over them. Later in ep 4, it will be revealed that it was his Mom (who is an immortal) that spilt WG’s soul into two body to protect him. Hence Ah Gou is the dumb and mute and just an empty shell with one small fragment of WG’s soul. So when the King dies, empire falls, the mom will help him reunited his soul into Ah Guo’s body and to assume that identity so to survive and not be killed by immortal.

Yea! Definitely have to go again and try spot all the C stars and products😍. Now Lei Lei is the star boy there.

No binge for this one as I was here the moment it’s released. The wait for every ep was really a drag but greatful of this community to keep me going during the watch. It adds on the entertainment chatting about the show.

Personally I felt it would be better if Allen Ren use a voice dubber. The story is very typical, and the acting is ok for me, will watch a few more to decide. Waiting for Legend of ShenLi too.

HiHi, yes. I was at TTEOTM forum. That’s the cutest moment between them. FL’s expression was adorable and ML is just super innocent look. So agreed that some of these good mini can be missed and neglected. I am glad I watched this one.😍

Exactly! It’s a disappointment, this is suppose to be a large scale production, and yet they didn’t deliver.

Probably why ML has always have a voice dubber. It’s his first time using his own voice for XianXia, and it didn’t do so well.

Watching this just for Ren Jia Lun and Xing Fei although CGI is so-so. And they should really get an older actor as King Xin.

Actually the last strategic fight by ZiChuan Xiu is very interesting and cunning. And we finally get to see Ah Xiu ‘red eye’ combat mode. lol!
In a way, it’s a nice ending, the third idiot has gone to join the other two idiots. Now I am more certain they will release the S2, but just don’t know when.😓
