XiXi’s whole look in the first poster.
Before TTEOTM, I am never a huge fans of XianXia, prefer WuXia, as sometimes can’t understand the lack of logic and the over dramatic characters and make up. But XiXi’s looks caught my attention, then I saw the trailers and his demonic eyes, I am sold and here I am. Still feel this is the XianXia that always have a special place in my heart.❤️🫶🏻😍

Sigh! More of Princess Ning and she is behaving like a 5 yrs old, what’s wrong with the writers here;( And she has no growth, how much longer to endure this!

And too many heads are leaning towards a lovebrain plot. sigh. Few more ep to go, just hope it ends well.

FL as a princess used to be spoilt, notorious and a ‘play-girl’. But after she returned, she became a change personality and does fell for ML. ML observed her changes and also fell for her. He is a prince from previous dynasty so he is trying to get FL’s seal to restore his empire and revenge. But after he fell in love with FL, he had a change of heart. But his uncle, is still plotting with the eldest prince (who seems to be ultimate villain) against FL and felt ML betrayed of the mission. FL’s father is not a good man, and FL wants to take the throne and make changes to some laws over women’s rights, divorce, etc. ML decided to help her. that’s roughly some of the plot points, hopefully it helps when you watch;)

Ning’s behaviour is just ridiculous. How can she be the next in charge behaving this way. But definitely a good reason for CX to plot on ZX.

I cannot imagine LMH letting that revenge go and still work with DiLin. Either he go crazy or he plots for revenge, doesn’t make sense for his character to still serve loyally and for greater good of ZiChuan. Just felt he is really in a sad state, and furthermore appoint him to do a role he is not exactly experience with. Just feel that CX is setting him up.

So agreed with you. The relationship with Ning became draggy and seems like fillers. They could have focus and move the main plot instead.

Yeah I like Wang Likun as an actress, I though she can also make a good Wu ZheTian. The Cao An’s character didn’t give much justice to her acting skills.

I agreed Zhou YiWei does a good job. But on a personal preference, I like the image/character portrayal by Yu Bo in Detective Dee: resurrection movie 2022, although the story wasn’t much. And as you mentioned the tension between him and Wu ZheTian has always been more intriguing to watch vs other romantic interest. Hahhaa…I wasn’t invested in Cao An.

For me is the preconceived idea of an existing character. We already have previous different narratives about Judge Dee, and when we have seen better ones, this one just didn’t match my expectation. If the drama is about a random detective, maybe it would have work better for me. It’s like how the latest Mulan movie just couldn’t make it for me too😅.

Yeah, she made him protect her 24/7. She is very insistent;) Not sure when it will be sub. It’s a Rom-Com, so plot not complicated, I am sure you can figure out.

I am sure DiLin knew too, hence he was the planned spie since the beginning. And he knew he has to do it for the sake of his brothers too. But he probably didn’t see how scheming the old guy was to even create that conflicts among him and brothers. I don’t think Ah Xiu is unable to understand DiLin’s action, but he just felt DiLin is too rigid, hence he is throwing that avoidance for a while.;)

Now I am confused. Why has ep 9, shifted to focus on Kiko’s story and a new group of police members? It seems to be a set up for Kiko to reach back to LiMo for help? The social media portrayal by how Kiko can infiltrate others privacy is really very dramatic.

Yeah, that’s my thoughts. He is indirectly creating too many instability among his team, and how is that good for ZiChuan. Not a wise ruler.
