A beautiful film with fantastic cinematography. Story is straightforward and direct, a Cinderella found her love and talent. Although the CP doesn’t have much intimacy, this is anyway set in a historian Japanese time period, where love and romance are very taboo expression. We shouldn’t expect much, however the CP has shown us good chemistry.

OMG!!! What have I just binged watch! Only a Japanese script can be filled with such ideas of a story. And it’s English title: “Is Love a Sin?” Wow, what trauma in relationship has one gone through to write such a screenplay.!

3 ep to wrap a case, Lin Mo never fail to deliver. I am only not so convinced about the motive of this first killer, if he identifies with the mental illness patients, why would he helped to harm them, wouldn’t he see them as his kind and try to protect them instead? I thought the set up was to make the killer a psychopath, then he killing won’t need a reason, but then it still ended giving him a mental illness, that’s not a good way to end this case. I kind of feel lost on what’s the theme of this story then? Mental illness patients can be exploited? Or mental illness is dangerous. I just have issues with this writing.

I thought I saw Tony Jaa, shouldn’t his name be added in the guest list. He is hilarious in the drama.🤣

Yeah, ego. There is a deeper theme but I felt not explored enough. It’s about maintaining ‘pure bloodline’. Do you see the part when Lord Yang was talking to the other two Generals about, “Do you support the ZiChuan family or ZiChuan as a country?” So everybody believes they are the good ruler for the country.

much focus on their romance, it’s already taken up so many ep., wondering when is the progression of plot.😅 I don’t mind the romance, but should have more focus on story. Just felt after the first ep epic fight, they blown the budget and subsequently no more scenes on war.🤣

Since you are ask, Yes he is. Hence he has special power. But with so few ep., I wonder till which point will the drama stop for this season. And not sure there will be a season 2😅.

Wahahah…definitely that point comes across well, that she is not fit to be the next chief, and she should be replaced. So ML should naturally be the next chief😆. I feel for ML, if to be next chief is to endure this kind of partner, I would rather marry another, hence in DongHua, he has two wives.🤣

Here’s how I see it, the chief knew Lord Yang will rebel, but they lack evidences to convict him. So Chief uses the stone who was given by his sworn brother (previous chief and ML’s father) as a way to force Lord Yang to take action. The current chief wants to show that he is on Lord Yang’s side and he knew that there is another spy among his soldier, creating more suspicion for Lord Yang. And sure enough the next move, Lord Yang just kill his left hand man (note his right hand man just got killed too).
