1. Nope. She stole the idea and created her own ‘Mammoth’.
2. Seems like NouYa is XZY’s team project name.
3. we don’t even know this yet.
4. We don’t know about Jiang Bo, but we know FL and her Ex-B/F have chips because it was a data collection planted by FXX. QL was not with FXX’s experiment, he received treatment from the original NouYa team.
5. Because QL’s memory is altered. Thier friend is actually called Chen TianYang. And they wanted to protect QL from the trauma, so they didn’t tell him the truth. Their friend died hence it traumatized QL.
Hope that gives you some insight to continue speculation.;)

My country will only released this show in theatre in Jan 2024. So I see from comments that we will get an HE as compare to the original drama. I am so excited to see this soon.

In ep 3, you are right. Didn’t feel like a zombie invasion, some oddly mutated sea creatures (from infected human?) Not sure yet. The pacing, tension and story telling is good so far.

Is this similar to the Kdrama Kingdom or some sea-creature alien invasion? The sypnosis doesn’t tell much.

To think about it, I do hope they don’t use the severe mental illness troupe on the mom. Based on the drama, she feels more like a narrow-minded, self driven and narcissistic character, probably can said driven by lots of loss of past relationship s and projected all her issues on controlling her adopted son and trying to gain fame and power via experiments. Yeah hard to see a redemption arc. With 4 more ep., let’s see how they will wrap this up. Definitely lost my initial interest on the Sci-go mystery plot.

You are very positive about the plot. It will be smart writing if they make her complex with compassion. However I felt it’s more of a set up of a single track bad guy model. She is probably the one with bipolar, who done all that because she fails to let go of her marriage which fails. Hence she realised power and control are things she can control, making her adopted son took the manslaughter blame and she wants to be able to find a way to erase her own regrets.

All this because of one crazy woman….the plot has become melodramatic. The SCi-Di element is lost.

He didn’t stalk her as he couldn’t find her at all. It was a random chance that he listened in to different chat room and found her voice.

It’s a nice surprise for a short drama. I chance upon this because of FL. It’s a straightforward drama with not much side plot, cliche scenes but some scenes were very cute and funny. The drama don’t take itself seriously which is a good light watch during festive season. Both ML and FL have good chemistry and are quite good looking but some of the make-up, camera angle and costume design just seems too odd and strong and not suitable for them. Hope to see them in future drama. Overall a good effort for a short Rom-com but definitely lots of room for improvement in pacing of the plot, storytelling and even acting for the side casts. I rated it a 7.5/10.

Yup, agreed with you. I will do that too. Too many spoilers revealed. Such mystery should be watched and uncovered by ourselves.;)

Oh thanks! I missed that. So QL came out okay from earlier test. But why would the later test, lim JBY became crazy or cause craziness? Shouldn’t later test be more stable? Interesting.

I have the same thought too!! Thought that voice sounds more like CFZ. But we shall see.

I think the experiment is to target at ‘regrets’ but seems like there are some more plot points that have yet to be revealed.

It’s not really surprise that QL has been in the system as there has been some hints since beginning. And yes, wondering what happened between him and JXY that QL’s father is so against their relationship. And wondering did QL went into the system before or after JXY. Maybe JXY was the initial batch of failed experiment like HBY. Now I am also curious about JB’s role. Among all, Cheng Fang Zhou is the best character and friend to them. Few more ep left, wondering how they will wrap up.

I didn’t see the previews but based on what you shared, I have a strong feelings that there will be another twist on ML’s role. And I am not surprise that it’s a OE. Let’s see.
